Entourage conduit and categories bug - Please fix in next update

Every time I delete categories in Entourage and synchronize with my
PDA, the deleted categories come back! It's like they were
"un-deleted." I've tried uninstalling software, re-creating categories
and manually deleting them, deleting all categories from PDA.

They also come back with the "black" color--not their original color.
Very annoying.

Here's my info

-Entourage 11.2.1
-Palm Zire31 w/ Palm OS 5.2.8
-Missing Sync 4.0.6 (Developer says the bug is in the Entourage
Conduit)
-OSX.3.9

ANd yet another reply to myself which may solve similar issues with
someone else:

For the record--and Missing Sync & Entourage programmers--I have
unintentionally found a
solution to my post below (from Aug 27, 2005).

My G5 startup disk/hard drive died the other day (OS 10.3.9 and
Entourage
11.2.1). So I got a new hard drive. The technician installed 10.4.3. Of
course, I re-installed my current MS Office 2004 with Entourage. I also
went
along with all their recommended online updates.

I also happened to have bought a second copy of Missing Sync for
another
computer. This one was v 5.0.1. I was using an older version when I
composed
the original post below. Expecting it was a waste of time, once again
deleted the unwanted categories in Entourage and my Zire 31. But I was
wrong. I synchronized and the deleted and renamed categories did not
return!

I have no idea how this came to be. But I hope this helps you and other
users.
