Entourage conduit hanging when syncing to DateBook

Hi there

I know this has cropped up plenty of times in this forum but after much
searching I still can't find the definitive explanation for why the
Entourage conduit hangs when it tries to sync the Calendar to DateBook on
the Palm.

I've tried removing all recurring events but to no avail and am not sure
what to do next.

Furthermore, I'm having trouble with categories for tasks. A category called
"@out & about"gets truncated to "about" on the Palm and then starts
duplicating itself in Entourage with successive syncs.

At this rate, using Mail, iSync, iCal and Address Book is starting to seem
like a much better idea. At least it worked.

I've tried all the solutions in this forum and on the web but to no avail.

Any clues greatly appreciated.

Have you had any luck with this? I recently installed EntourageX on a
Powerbook G4 which has a login for me and my wife. When I sync using the
Palm software only it works under both logins. When I use Entourage (and
the Entourage Conduit) it syncs under my login but it hangs on my wife's
login when it is syncing the Datebook.

Have you found anything specific that can resolve this? (e.g. removing
recurring events, etc). I just called Microsoft and they wanted to charge me
$249 to help solve the problem.
