Entourage, contacts and faxing

First of all, than you Stu, for solving my Explorer problem.
This one is a bit more complicated. I am a new Mac user. I used to use Win
Fax Pro on my windows pc to fax to a 200 person list once a month.
Since Mac does not support Win Fax I am previewing Pagesender (a program
which advertises it can do what I need).
Here's the problem.
1 PageSender appears as a printer choice in Word (no problem)
2, Entourage is the default address book (no problem)
3. When it pulls up the address book the names appear with their
corresponding e-mail address. (BIG problem)
4. Obviously I have done something wrong or neglected to do something when
I was entering my business contacts in Entourage. By the way, I have had to
re-enter manually because the delimited text phonebook file transfer from
Winfax came in wonky (I have accepted this in a very Zen way).

Thanks in advance for your help. I am desperate!

I just realized that I was not too clear in explaining that I need the fax
numbers to come up from entourage, not the e-mail addresses. That IS my
problem.
Sorry

Speaking from a position of complete ignorance...try this to test whether is
the problem is your address book or one of the programs:

Set up a new identity in Entourage, which will give you a new Office Address
Book. Put just one contact in the new identity. See if PageSender brings
up the fax number properly.

If it doesn't, contact PageSender.

Re step 3--are you sure this isn't just PageSender's way of identifying the
people, and that they really do intend to fax the doc to the email address?
Conceivably (and I've never heard of this program before, so I don't know),
you assumed an error a step too early, and the next step would have put the
fax number in the right place? (just trying to check everything)

Problem: Entourage requires tab delineated or the other category or text
file for importing contacts to its address book. Apple address book, on the
other hand, can only export as V Card. Is there a work around to convert the
contact files for Entourage to import them?

Entourage can import vCards, just not vCards that include information for
more than one contact. Just drag vCards onto the Entourage icon or into the
Address Book window.

If it doesn't seem to work, select a vCard in the Finder, and then go to
File > Get Info. Under "Open With", select Microsoft Entourage, and then
click "Change All". You should then be able to import the vCards.

For a transfer that preserves more information, use Paul Berkowitz's "Sync
Entourage-Address Book" script. It is not free, but it does include a free
trial period.
