Entourage correcting text incorrectly

2nd post attempt...

I have discovered that when I type "o/" or "l/" into Entourage, the text
appears as a "ø" and as a "l" with a slash through it (respectively).
This is kind of a pain since a lot of what I type is unix paths (e.g.
"/usr/local/bin" or "/Volumes/Opo/foo"). I have checked and AutoCorrect
is not configured to do this (in fact, turning off AutoCorrect doesn't
fix this).

Any idea what might be causing this incorrect "correction" of my text
into some sort of Norwegian???
