We have identified the cause of a recent flood of calls and posts that
started on Tuesday where Entourage will crash doing a send and receive if
you were the target of an inept spammer.
While using web mail to delete this message is one way of restoring normal
functionality to Entourage, you can also turn off your Junk Mail Filter,
click Send and Receive and the offending email will be received and you can
delete it normally. Then - turn your filter back on.
The cause is a malformed entry in the header of this email. It does not
appear to be malicious in intent, nor does it cause any known harm to your
computer. Microsoft is aware of this issue in the Junk Mail Filter.
