Entourage-crashed & burned

My Entourage vX for Mac has suddenly stopped letting me send and
receive emails. I hit the send/receive button and it crashes. I have
no idea why. It was working fine and suddenly just died. I can still
send messages, but I can't receive them. I'm still getting email
because I can get it through my Mac mail, but all my saved folders are
in Entourage, which up until now, I preferred. Can ANYONE give me
some help?

Download and install the latest Office X update, which is 10.1.6. It's
available from Microsoft.

If that doesn't work, be aware that there are some types of messages that
will crash Entourage. If you are crashing on receiving mail, it is likely
happening because of a corrupt message on the server. Work through the
steps on the "Crashes" page on The Entourage Help Page to delete the corrupt
message.
