Entourage Data File

Is there an Entourage 2004 data file/folder that can be copied between
a Desktop and Laptop? I want my office computer (desktop) and home
computer (home) to mirror each other.

If it helps to answer the question, I have a G5 Desktop (panther and
entourage 2004) and a G4 laptop (panther and entourage).

You need to copy the Microsoft User Data folder to the same location on the
other machine to see the same data there. It's located in
/Users/<Your User>/Documents/Microsoft User Data/

Hi Daniel,

I think the easiest way is to make a copy of your MS OFfice 2004
Identities folder (which is located in your home directory on both
computers) and manually copy between them. That way you'll be synched.
I'm not sure about having them automatiically synched at the same time
concurrently though.

Thanks for the help. I'm new to the apple world and
recently purchased a desktop, ipod and laptop. My goal is
to stop carrying a computer to the office. Instead, I hope
to copy my entourage files to the IPOD and move the data to
both computers. Hopefully your suggestion will work.

You need an equal amount of free space as your data in case you need to
rebuild your database.
