I am encountering many ³corruption issues² with my database.
The latest one is weird.
I sometimes get the pop-up window message telling me to quit all Office
applications (even if none is opened, including the Database Daemon) because
my database is damaged. I do so and usually rebulid the database and all
seems to be fine... For a while.
However, the last time I had the message, I simply hit ³cancel² and open the
Database Utility manually to check the database before rebuilding it.
Surprise: the database was fine!
So it would seem I am receiving ³phony messages² (at least that particular
time).
Any idea what¹s causing this?
What is causing database corrupting in the first place?
These problems (and many others mostly all related to Entourage) have been
starting after I installed Office 11.3 update (prior to that, I had
literally no problems with Office 2004).
Thanks,
Denis
