entourage database problem.

The story. My hard drive was full and I searched for the largest folders on
my HD. Under documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identies/Main
Idenity 1/Database was an 854mg folder. I copied it to my firewire drive.
Deleted from the HD.

Open Word and it ran fine. Worked for a while and opened Entourage to ck
my email and it said "hello, want to set this up"...Everything gone. So I
copied the huge file back to where it was and rebooted. Entourage still
comes up with nothing. Since I didn't export the files (cause I didn't know
what they were) it wouldn't let me import it - grayed out.

I know this was stupid, but I am in an awful mess. Any ideas?

Choose switch identity in the Entourage menu, then choose the correct
identity folder in the list.
