Entourage deletes Address Book entries?

Well, after using Entourage for about 5 minutes, I felt "crowded" by all the Contact info (I used to love Outlook on my PC, too. Funny how time with a Mac gets you used to "cleanliness"). So I went back to Address Book and, lo and behold, all my Contacts are gone! I remember when I was using Entourage, I had two copies of every Contact. Well, I blithely went through and deleted one set. Did Entourage clean out my Address Book?

I'm interested in a response to this, as i currently have duplicates and have not erased any just in case this happens! I do not use any other services for contacts except for Address Book (and am thinking of ditching sync services in Entourage now).

What's the story guys?
