Entourage deletes chunks of email on Exchange 2003

Hi,

We run Exchange 2003 and have 70% of our user base happily running
Outlook on PCs and 30% running Entourage.

On a regular basis Entourage users see huge chunks of emails,
generally prior to the current day, completely deleted.

Restoring user inboxes from Exchange backups is becoming an increasing
pain for our IT resources.

Any idea on the reason behind this? Any fixes?

Hi David!

I see no one with similar experiences or an answer has responded to you
yet. This seems to be a unique problem.

Based on your description I assume this problem _only_ happens with
Entourage users. Correct?

Have you found it necessary to restore these files rather than checking
the Exchange Server's Deleted Items folder? That's the same place you'd
check in Outlook or OWA if messages were moved to the Deleted Items
folder and then the folder was emptied.
