Entourage dies after sending a message over Exchange Server

Hi there ...

We are still testing with the Trial Office v. X Version to check if we can
use Powerbooks here in the company. One issue was the problem with Excel and
csv import. The problem is a bug, but some nice ppl here in the ng helped me
to find a workaround. So this is solved now.

But i am experiencing another problem here. Sometimes, when i send a mail
with Entourage, i think it is just when replying, the Entourage quits after
sending. We use the newest Office Update with it. The Connection to Exchange
2000 is made via the Exchange support (imap/webdav SSL, which is REALLY CRAP
and i dont get it why MS doesnt use MAPI, but anyway). When i send the email
via imap, the message goes out, but then suddenly Entourage quits with an
error and thats it ... We are using OS X 10.2.8, but the error came with the
10.2.7 aswell.

Can someone help me? We wont be using Macs here in the company aslong as we
keep to have this problems ...

I really love mac and even the office v. X. is a good piece of software, but
it still has some bugs ...

Any help would be appreciated ...

It is possibly an early sign of mild database corruption.

Hold down the option key when starting Entourage and take the first option
('typical rebuild'). If this doesn¹t resolve the problems, then try an
ŒAdvanced Rebuild¹.
