Entourage does not access global address list from exchange

I have Office 2004 for Mac version 11.3.3. My company just implemented
Exchange. I am not able to get access to the global address list. It
shows 'an unknown error -50 occured'. I tried to install SP2 but its
says that 'the installer cannot locate the currect version of software
required to install this update'. The 'About entourage' doesnot shows
SP2 installed earlier so I am assuming that its not installed. I want
to know if SP2 is automatically installed in ver 11.3.3 and if yes,
how do I connect to the global address list. Note that I can connect
to the public forlders successfuly.

If your Entourage shows you version 11.3.3 then you're running the
latest version. The 11.3.4 Office update didn't update the Entourage
version. Also SP2 updated Entourage from 11.1.x to 11.2.0. You're
already well beyond SP2 so don't worry about it.

To access the Global Address List enter the address of a Global Catalog
server for your network in the LDAP server field. If you're not sure
what the address is then you'll need to contact a network administrator
for that information. Also, Global Catalog servers can not typically be
accessed outside of a company network. If you need to do this then
download the script mentioned here
<http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangelookups.html>.

For more information about setting up Entourage for use at work have a
look here <http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeatwork.html>.

Hope this helps! bill
