Entourage does not allow mail in or out

Every time I try to send or recieve an e-mail the error flag pops up
saying that it does not recognize my address or password. When this
problem could not be rectified by any other means, I scrapped all of
my Office V.X and reloaded, then I went on line and downloaded all of
the latest updates. I establish my account all over again, got a Wellcome
e-mail from Microsoft and tried it all over again.same results! i am
using the latest editions of everything Mac OSX on a G4. What else can I
try.

Are you sure you're configuring your account correctly? Some email
providers require you to use your full email address as the Account ID,
for example. Do they require authentication? A special port?

Have you used other programs to access your account? How did you set
them up? Who is your provider? Have you tried checking with them?
