For about a week now, Entourage has stopped displaying my emails and attachments. Some emails do display at times but most are prey to this issue. I've tried changing the location of the preview pane, removing and then adding the email account (and its settings), and reinstalling the entire Office suite again. None of these have solved the problem.

again. None of these have solved the problem.

1) Drag some examples to your desktop.
2) Under Entourage in the Menu bar select "Switch Identity". Create a new
Test Identity. No need to enter account info.
3) Drag the test messages into the folder window. Do they show correctly?
4) If yes, then it's your database.
5) If no, then create a new User Account in System Preferences and repeat
the steps above.

Let me know what you find.

Thank you for the instructions. I tried them out under my current User Account and they did not work; however, when I created a new User Account in System Preferences, I started Entourage and had to input my email account settings again. At that point, Entourage connected to my email account and downloaded my emails. Every single one displayed correctly.

Now, how can I get the emails to show up in my current User Account? I don't want to create a new User Account just to use Entourage since I don't want to recreate all of my current settings.

Now we know the problem is in your User's folder.

Troubleshooting Your User Account for a Problem
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/test_user.html>

1) to test your Identity, drag your Identity to Shared. Switch to your test
User. Drag (it copies) to the Microsoft User Data folder --> Identities
folder. If the problem goes away then it's not your Identity. If it is your
Identity then rebuilding might fix the problem. (remember to drag from
Shared back after the test or Entourage will open in a new blank Identity
and cause a heart attack. :) )

2) If you Identity proves to be OK, then follow the steps on the page. If
you're lucky it's in the Microsoft preferences.
