With Entourage 2004 Sp2, I noticed that Groups are only defined in the local
address book and somewhat understand the reasons for that. However, when I
use a group to send an email no address appears in the To: column for the
sent message in the Sent Items folder. I have the group set up with "don't
show addresses when sending to group". This prevents a long list of the
individuals users from being put in the "To:". Unfortunately it does not
put ANYTHING in the "To:" line.
