I get the error message authentication failed because entourage does
not support available authentication methods.
To send e-mails or to receive them??
It is fairly frequent to have problem sending e-mails from hotels.
Either because your SMTP server refuses to relay (and you have to use a
local one, but the hotel doesn't provide an SMTP), or because the hotel
blocks the ports you need.
TO bypass that, I usually send from accounts that offer off-site SMTP
(eg: gMail, mac.com) preferably on uncommon ports. You can also turn
your Mac into your own SMTP through activating postfix.
