This has been driving me nuts for a long time. I'd be very grateful for
help!
I can't remember if this was a problem from the start, or shortly after
I installed Office X, but Entourage keeps tossing about half of all the
mail I get into the Deleted Items folder. I can't figure out any
pattern, except that most or all messages that come from email lists
and that were sent by ME go into Deleted. All my husband's email goes
into Deleted--he's got two email accounts, pretty normal ones, but
that's where they go.
Some spam mail goes in Deleted, but not all--no pattern there. Lots of
legitimate mail from friends goes straight to Deleted. I can't figure
it out, but it's a huge time waster to have to go through the Deleted
Items folder every time I send/receive messages and retrieve the
legitimate stuff!
Can anyone help?
I'm running Office X on OS X 10.4.7.
The only rule I have enabled is to move Junk mail to the Junk folder.
That doesn't seem related to the problem.
Also, is there a keyboard command that will permanently delete messages
rather than sending them to the Deleted Items folder (like you can do
with Shift-Delete in Outlook)??
Thanks!
