entourage e-mail

I'm running Jaguar 10.2 on a powerbookg4. I'd like to use Entourage
as my default e-mail. I configured it as default but incoming mail still
goes to the mac mail program. I can send mail via entourage but no
receiving. Can anyone help?

If you quit Mail it cannot receive. However, it sounds like your preference
did not take.

To set Entourage X under Jaguar go to System Preferences:
Internet:E-mail.tab.

Entourage 2001 and Entourage X both show as Entourage (no version). You
should manually navigate to your copy to be sure you have the correct
version selected.

If Entourage is not listed in the Default Email Application pop-up, choose
Select and navigate to your copy of Entourage.

Yes, but why would you want to send with one and receive with the other?

Customize your Send & Receive All schedule to not receive.
