Entourage & Exchange Connector (INBOX issues)

I'm having an issue where some of my emails are being delivered to the
local folder and some to my exchange folder. What would cause this?

It seems to be random. I tried deleting my exchange server connection
and re-creating it...

I have an inbox under my exchange connection and an inbox under my
local folders. Why would it all of the sudden start sending messages
to the local folder...and not all the time?

Bot inbox folders have red flags next to them, would this be the
problem? It seems the application cant figure out which one is
default?

any ideas?

Check under the Tools menu for Mail List Manager. If there are any
items in there, delete them. I'm not sure how it happens, but I've
twice where a user ended up with a mail list rule based on an email
address and their emails started splitting between the exchange in-box
and the local in-box. I think there is an undocumented shortcut to
automatically creating a mail list rule and that people are
inadvertently creating rules, but I haven't found what it is yet.

THere is another related possibility. If rules are corrupted (which
often happens after a database rebuild), the e-mails are sent to folders
"on my computer" instead of the original destination. This could have
the same effect. In addition to the Mailing List Manager, I would check
every single rule that applies to the Exchange account.
