Entourage-Exchange parity?

Why is is so hard for the same company that makes Exchange server to
provide the ability to an owned business unit to allow feature parity
with Entourage and Outlook with Exchange Server. Yes, I know. It's
Microsoft.

Oh. You're right. It IS Microsoft. What possbile interest would they
have in providing a seamless experience for Macintosh users when they
could dump their platform and use a Windows box?

Get your collective act together. Either do it right or dump the half
baked "features" totally.

As far as I know there are two things to take in consideration:
- porting MAPI to MacOS X is a nightmare
- MS would like to get away from MAPI anyway and go to WebDAV.
Unfortunately as Paul mentioned in another post not so long ago, it
looks like MAPI is taking forever to die...

You'll also have to remember that if indeed MS makes Exchange, it's not
the same people as then one who develop Office for Mac...
