Entourage/Exchange Server Issues - HELP!

M

Michael N

Just switched from a WinXP laptop to a PowerBook running Panther
10.3.1.

Installed Office X, updated all required updates and connected it up
to my Exchange 2000 Server at work.

All no problem - so far.

However, in the list of folders that it sees on the server, both my
Calendar and Contacts folders all look like email messages. When I
click the Calendar button (or address button) they are blank.

What gives? Anyone?

The same happen to me -- it's not your mac, it's the version of
exchange that you're running, once you upgrade to exchange 2003, the
problem will be fixed.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply - can you be more specific? My initial response
is "cut the crap"! We have no plans on moving to Ex2003 here...so is
my powerbook a boat anchor now with regards to Entourage working
properly with Exchange?

Thx

Well..... I'm not so sure it's so simple.
Usually, this appears when the free/busy server is not setup properly (I
don't see how it relaetes to Exchange 2000 vs 2003).

THe free/busy server is the same as your webmail server.

If the webmail server is something like this:

http://my.webmailserver.com/exchange

then the free/busy server you need to use in your settings is:

my/webmailserver.com/public
