Entourage fails to launch

Greetings. Getting an error message when I try to open Entourage (any
Microsoft program and a couple of others including Graphic Converter as
well) that says it failed to launch because of a shared library error:
7<Microsoft Entourage><Microsfit Entourage><CarbonLib><>" Any
suggestions/solutions greatly appreciated!

If the problem started after you applied the Security Update 2006-007, try
this:

Re-apply the Mac OS X 10.4.8 combo updater once again, re-application of the
current combination updater (Mac OS X 10.4.8 for PowerPC or Intel) has
proven useful in the case of Security Update 2006-007. Doing so overwrites
potentially problem-causing files.
