After I updated my mac mini to 10.4.3, my wife noticed that entourage does
not quit/terminate when asked to do so....otherwise it works fine...
My wife¹s account is not an administrator on the pc....but even if I upgrade
her to an administrator the problem persists. The actual problem is that
when terminating the entourage program with command-q or menu entourage-quit
entourage, the program appears to quit by closing all open windows...but the
little triangle remains under the entourage symbol in the dock...and running
the activity monitor displays the entourage program running but ³Not
Responding²...it appears to be just hanging there....and the only way to
complete the termination request is to force quit the application from the
dock....not the best solution.
I¹ve tried repairing my disk permissions several times....I¹ve even deleted
my wife¹s account...rebooted the computer and then re-created her and the
problem seems to persist.
I originally installed the software under my account....not hers....could
this be the problem.....do I need to install the software again under her
profile...??
I¹m running 1.5 mhz mac mini G4 with 1gb of ram.....and this problem does
not persist under my account...just my wife¹s account.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
TIA..
