Entourage file size

I have a 93Gb hard drive and Entourage database file takes up 15Gb. That can't be right. can anyone tell me if it is, why it is and if it isn't normal, how to get it down to size.

It's larger than what I'd be comfortable supporting but I've heard of
larger.

If you've had the same Database for a few years, receive lots of
attachments and never delete anything then you could very well have a
Database file this size.

Launch Entourage with the Option key held down and this will open the
Database Utility. You can compact your database to remove unused space.
You can also use Message --> Remove All Attachments prior to compacting
and make the Database file smaller.
