Entourage for Mac 2004 and MS Exchange Server 2003

Greetings,

We recently upgraded our server to MS Exchange Server 2003 and also
decided to move to Entourage 2004 for Mac. However, now that the server
is up and running (and working with our old Outlook, I might add)
Entourage refuses to connect with the exchange so that I can send and
receive emails. Entourage is communicating with the server on a limited
basis (for example when I set up a user account in Entourage, it finds
the name of the server) but displays an error when I try to send an
email. It will not receive emails sent from an outside email address.
From other posts in this newsgroup, it seems as if Web access has to be
enabled and active, and in our case it has not been. Could this be the
only problem or are there other settings on the server side that need
to be changed, activated, etc? Thanks.

Yours,
HM

Well, that is certainly the show stopper. You won't connect using E2004
without HTTP DAV enabled on the server.

Is there anything else? I don't know, and you wo't find out until you try to
connect with DAV
