Entourage freezes at startup

I had attempted to send a large attachment and I believe this is
causing Entourage to freeze at startup. This email is sitting in my
outbox but I can't get rid of it with Entourage freezing. Everytime I
open it, I get the spinny wheel and have to force quit. I am using
Office 2004.

I don't really even use Entourage anymore, but my entire address book
is on it so that is my main concern.

Maybe you've got a schedule set up to send & receive e-mail messages at
startup. In that case, Entourage will try to send that problematic e-mail
and will freeze if that message is seriously damaged. To verify this, see if
Entourage starts when you hold down the Shift key before launching it. This
disables all the startup schedules in Entourage. If you can now navigate in
Entourage, make sure you disable the preview pane (View>Preview Pane>None),
then delete the e-mail from your Outbox and empty the trash. At this point,
you can re-activate the preview pane, and you should be able to quit and
relaunch Entourage without any difficulties. If that doesn't solve the
problem, post back and describe what happened.
