Entourage - Global Address List

Okay, I have installed and configured Entourage properly
on my MAC computers, and it works fine, except for one
thing. The Global Address List does not show up. I have
put in all the appropriate settings and it still doesn't
work. It does however work when I am logged in as an
administrator of the network, but when I set up a basic
users account, it doesn't work. I am sure it is a
security issue, but I can not figure out how to address it.

Well the GAL entirely relies on LDAP. To get it to work properly, you
need to set it up in Entourage but often also in the Directory Access
app.
If you got it to work through an admin account, then I would guess there
is nothing you really need to reset in the directory acess app.
Did you try repairing the permissions on the boot drive through the Disk
Utility ??? This very often solvec a lot of issues. I would suggect in
this specific case to reboot once the system is done repairing
permissions.
I just hope you never installed or ran the application through the
"root" account... :-\
