Entourage Hangs on Quit

Quite frequently, Entourage hangs on quit and does not respond. I have to
force quit to get the application to close. I'm running 11.3.3 on an MacBook
Pro (2.4 GHz).

Honestly, I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this. I don't see anything odd in
the system logs.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Is there a schedule that runs on quit? If you run tcpflow does that give you
any clues on what Entourage is communicating with the server that might be
the cause?

any clues on what Entourage is communicating with the server that might be

OK. Thanks Diane. I've deleted all scheduled events on quit (e.g., delete
messages) and deleted the preference files and cache files mentioned in the
troubleshooting/crashes information you referenced.

I'll give tcpflow a try and see what is going on with communications upon
quit with the mail server if the trouble continues.
