entourage HTML e-mail

I've added two scripts so far neither of them work. One only loads the
background color. The other one shows just the boxes where the images
with links should be and a red x in side each box. I also tried the
send to feature in Microsoft Word. Well,it sent the e-mail, but it was
blank!

Please tell me how to send HTML with images and links. Thanks, in
advance.

Entourage's HTML layout capabilities are extremely limited. For tips and
options see:

this did not answermy question. I've been told I need to have absolute
links not relative. I put the images in separate html files and uploded
them to my stie, then created my newsletter and entered the HTML file
with the same images into it , with the "from file" pop up box, but
this din't work. The newsletter didn't show the images when it was
e-mailed. Microsoft really messed up when they created this program. It
shouldn't be this difficult.

Kat, I don't think Microsoft mean Entourage to be an HTML editor. I've never
done this, but I wonder how it would turn out to create the newsletter in
Word and email from there. I use Dreamweaver, an HTML editor, to create the
newsletters I create for several clients.

Kat,

As a new Mac user who relied heavily on Office for Windows before
switching, I'm experiencing the same difficulties/frustrations as you.
If you've got Office 2004 on your Mac, the easiest way to get around
this HTML problem is to create all your complex HTML e-mails as Word
documents and go to File-->Send To->Mail Recipient (as HTML). A few
things to know before you do this:

1. Entourage must be set as your default mail reader. To do this, go
into Apple's Mail program and from the menu bar
Mail-->Preferences-->Default Mail Reader-->Entourage. If Entourage is
not set as your default mail reader, the Mail Recipient (as HTML)
option will not appear in the drop down menu.

2. Once the message is sent to Entourage, you can no longer modify it.
So, make sure you make all necessary edits before you send it to
Entourage.

Even doing this, I still strongly dislike Entourage and am one the
verge of installing Windows on my computer, just so I can use Outlook
Express or Web Access. But, at least this method is something...
