Can anybody please help me?
Currently I am testing the Panther-script for the synchronization of
entourage and ical (I use 10.3.9 and Entourage 11.2.5, German versions).
Unfortunately I have a lot of troubles with the script.
Whenever I try to start the PREFS Installer, I get an error with the
following message: The variable uOsaxFolderPath is not defined. Error number
-2753 (Can't move 24U appearance Osax.osax to
~/Library/ScriptingAdditions/.) After clicking OK another box appears that I
should repair disk permissions, which I performed several times, but nothing
has changed. Okay, I moved the requested file into the ScriptingAdditions
folder manually. After that I got another message, that the installer was
unable to copy the Run Sync-iCal Script to my entourage script menue folder
(error -43). Repairing disk permissions as suggested did not help again.
Okay, I copied the file manually and thereafter I was able to set the
preferences and everythig seemed to be okay. But after starting the script
by doubleclicking the sync-symbol I get a message "Can't make "11.2" into a
real." And nothing else happens...
I switched to another user on my computer and I got the same errors. Anyway,
I have no idea what is wrong with my system, and so, I would be very happy
if I get the script running.
