Has anyone seen this?
I have a client's daughter whose Entourage 2004 account is deleting
read emails in the "In Box" when the program is restarted.
The problem started a few days ago, and she was going to upgrade to
Office 2004, so I rebuilt the database in Office X, and installed
Office 2004.
The problem is still there. When you read a message by opening it up
in a new window, or just viewing it in the preview pane, and restart
entourage, the viewed messages delete automatically. They do not,
however, go to the "Deleted Items" folder. They just vanish. I have
rebuilt the database in Office 2004 as well, and have turned off all
of the rules.
I created another user, and duplicated the database and moved it into
the new user's document folder with no success. The same thing occurs.
I have turned off all of the rules with no success.
I created another user, and then transferred the email settings
across, and this account works fine.
Also, previously read messages in anthing other than the "Inbox" are
not affected.
Norton Anti-Virus does not see anything.
This is a serious problem, since she has about 4 GB of mail, and much
of it is course related. Does anyone have any suggestions?
