entourage isn't sending anywhere anymore

I'm having the same problem, not only with hotmail, but with other
email accounts as well-
so there's error 5550 and 5553 as well-
the problem occured few days ago- out of the blue.

The Hotmail accounts were broken with a security upgrade. See threads " Re:
1412 Error for Hotmail in Entourage???" and " Hotmail Issue Results".

Are you both using Entourage X? Did you apply all updates for DST? Did you
apply the Entourage X workaround for DST?

You are probably getting this error and the Entouage Stalls; your other
accouts are never gotten to.

Where's my grammat checker.

I have done the DST thing but it still is not working. What is the work around? I am using X 10.1.0 2006. It would be easier if someone said do this 1.2.3.

The latest update for Entourage X is 10.1.9. If I remember correctly, the
fix for getting the warning that your database was full was in one of the
earlier updates. Even though updating won't fix all of your problems, you
SHOULD update to 10.1.9.

The Hotmail problems cannot be fixed with any update. I don't know what
broke, but it also affected OS 9 users. Computer software does have a life
span. Applications like Entourage that interact with the OS and other
software to communicate are more vulnerable to changes and updates.

Thanx Diane, and unfortunatel no udate would help, just as you wrote.
So the only way is to switch to another email-Application and/or sign
out of hotmail for good.
:-(
