Entourage keeps deleting off the server. . .

Hello,

I have a home and work computer and I need my emails to be in both
places for searches, etc.

In the Edit Account--> Options tab I have "Leave a copy of message on
the server" but for some reason about 6 hours later it takes all my
messages off the server.

Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated.

Hi enzosf!

Have you done this on both your computers? One may be leaving the
messages but the other may be deleting them after downloading.

Ideally, for situations like yours where you want to keep two computers
synchronized with the same email information you would use an IMAP
account rather than a POP/SMTP account. Check with your ISP to see if
they offer you the ability to connect to your account via IMAP.

Thanks very much for this info. I do have a POP account now and will
see about the poss of changing that to IMAP.
