Entourage keeps loading same messages

Entourage 2004 on a MacBook keeps loading emails over and over again.
Not only emails that I deleted or moved to sub boxes, but also others
still in the Inbox. Very anoying. Can anyone please help me to figure
out what's happening and solve it. Greatly appreciated!

What sort of account? IMAP, Exchange or other?
