Entourage keeps relaunching when quit

Hi,

I've been having a weird problem with Entourage 2004 (v 11.2.5) that started
about a week ago.

I cannot get entourage to quit or force quit without it relaunching itself.
As a result-I cannot shut down my mac, I cannot try validating the database
because I cannot close the program and I cannot install any office updates
because it won't stay closed.

I have tried using both an IMAP and Exchange account to connect to our
Exchange server but see the same problem with both types of accounts. I have
tried deleting the com.microsoft.Entourage.prefs.plist file but that did not
work either.

Other than the quitting problem I am having no other problems with
receiving/sending/deleting mail.

Has anybody else had this problem or have ideas on what to try next?

Check for some third-party applications that schedule events.

MenuCalendarClock can launch Entourage every time it checks for events
(whether or not you have set are any events for Entourage). Other possible
culprits: EntourageABMenu, Quicksilver, LaunchBar, iKey, Keyboard Maestro.
