Entourage loosing emails and Appointments

Entourage is regularly LOOSING emails and Appointments

We have several MAC users using Entourage at one site working with a
number of PC users using Outlook

They have shared Calendars (and shared everything)!
From time to time Appointments just disapear as do emails

I've got another site where the boss insists on MAC & Entourage
Outlook or PC is NOT an option.

His entire mailbox is shared with his assitant
Calendar is shared with about 10 people in the office
.....and messages and Calender items are
going missing ie. some weekly appointments scheduled once a week in in
January 2005
has just gone!

there is no Archiving option by Date on the MAC so it can't be that!
why only some entries if was archiving???
They are not in the BIN


Anyone have any suggestions?

Are you using Exchange ?? You could try a complete rebuild of the
Entourage database (hold the alt key down as you launch the
application). This might fix some corruptions in your mailboxes and
for-ce re-download everything from the server if you use Exchange.

Yes it is being used with Exchange

I tried the basic Repair

The problem is WebAccess shows these items are gone too
I assume Webaccess is reading Exchange data directly (not the cache on the
mac)

This has happened in the last 2-3 weeks - happened again today
for 2 appointments put in on Monday this week for 26 & 27 August

Ouch... this is a very bad sign... I'm not so sure the data can be
recovered then :-\
