Entourage:Mac 2004 - Date Range

I wish to create a Calendar View that will include all calendar items
for a specific date range in the past (for example, all calendar items
for the year 2004). Entourage seems to allow an upper limit of any day
in the future (expressed as so many days from today), but not any day
in the past; and has no lower limit (such as 400 days ago), unless
there is "none," in which case all calendar dates are included back to
the beginning of the database. Also, oddly, the date range seems to
rely on "today's date", which obviously changes every day, so results
change when the view is accessed on a different day.

I simply want to include a date range from, say 1/1/2004 to and
including 12/31/2004. My mind will boggle (and I will be driven far
away from Entourage and Microsoft) if you tell me this can't be done
easily.

Another oddity: If you search for a date "in the month of X," you get
all items in all years that occurred in that month. Why can't you enter
a particular month AND YEAR?

Why indeed?

Date Ranges is frequently requested in this newsgroup and other forums. I
hope that MS are listening and add this functionality on the next update.

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Entourage". This message will
go directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.

"Send Feedback on Entourage." Where exactly is this menu item? Which
"Help" menu item is it? Google Groups? or the MVP site? or somewhere
else?

Thanks. I will do that, and add one more vote for a feature that should
have always been there.
