Entourage Mail 2004 - Inbox messages gone

This evening, in front of my eyes, all of my inbox emails simply
vanished. They are not in deleted, junk etc - just gone. Anyone have a
similar experience? I never had this problem prior to my recent
upgrade to Office 2004.

What kind of account was it? POP, IMAP, Hotmail or Exchange?

Have you accidentally toggled the 'unread only' or 'flagged only' display
feature under the 'View' menu?

Did you accidentally invoke a filter such as Unread Only or Flagged Only?
Check the View menu to see if these are checked.

Are the messages visible through another client (like the mac.comweb site)
or are they permanently gone from your Inbox? Are they in the deleted items
folder?
