Entourage Mail View not refreshing

I have a mail view for Unread messages. The criterion is ³Status is Unread.²
However, if I deselect this view and then go back to it, it doesn¹t refresh
to only display the current unread messages. In order to get a refresh I
must pretend to edit the view and close the window. Does anyone know a way
to force the custom view to refresh?

Œunread only¹ is a little difficult to implement ­ if the display
continually refreshes to display only the unread items, then selecting a
mail item in such a view would (with preview pane enabled) mark it as read
and immediately remove it from the view, and automatically select the next
message, mark it read... etc.

However, with the custom view open in front of you, hitting Cmd-L will
refresh the display and cause all read items to disappear.
