Entourage: moving mail to new mac

Hi,
Today I tried to move my Entourage mail from an iMac G4 to and eMac. I copied the Microsoft User Data folder to the new machine and put it on the hard drive, where it resided on my iMac. When I launched Entourage, it showed no mail and wanted to begin the account setup process. Unfortunately, I gahted all the stuff I want to move into a folder to facilitate the process, instead of copying it, and now I do not have email ont he old machine, either.

I tried rebuilding the database. the Main identity folder has 250+ Mb os data, so it is not lost totally.

Can some one help?

Beth,

Thanks for the help. I finally did it right with your assistance. I had
put it in the main documents folder and it needed to be in my own user
directory in the documents folder. Sorry that I did not specify OS and
version, but you had the idea.

I have not used te groups before, since I do not have access from
school, where it would be most useful. I manage a large number of Macs
in my school and I will be sure to inquire here more often.
