Entourage needs Regex (Regular Expression) support in filters

Entourage needs Regex (Regular Expression) support in its filters. This
would help immensely when dealing with IMAP messages (for which you cannot
filter based on anything in the message body) Regex would give you a lot
more capability when filtering based on subject, from, to, etc.

I agree, you wouldn't believe how much I agree. The same goes for WOrd
and Excel as far as I am concerned. I would strongly encourage you to
use the Sned Feedback link from the Help menu in Entourage...

As has been pointed out on the Entourage Talk mailing list (by myself and
others) Microsoft has made changes to their site which render that
uncooperative.

Well, Choosing that option takes you to the following page on Microsoft's
site: <http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/>.

1) There is no link for providing product feedback (one for web site
feedback yes; product feedback no).

2) Clicking on the link for contacting support via e-mail takes you here:

<http://support.microsoft.com/gp/assistsupport>

3) Clicking the More Office products link takes you here:

<http://support.microsoft.com/select/default.aspx?target=assistance&c1=505&G
SSProdSelMore505>

4) Entourage 2004 isn't listed, but Office 2004 is--clicking the link gets
you here:

<http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?&c1=505&gprid=2490&>

5) At which point you choose either Standard or Student / Teacher edition (I
chose Standard.). That gets you here:

<http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?ln=en-us&c1=505&prid=7840&gpr
id=36012>

6) Lastly you must enter your product ID so Microsoft can see if you've used
all of your free support requests (I have.) In which case I have to pay
Microsoft $35 before I can send them an e-mail! Or I can go to Microsoft's
public newsgroups for free.

Very true. I had completely forgotten about that :-( Then we can only
wish that the MacBU people will notice the request in the list here :-\
