Entourage newsreader slow?

I started using Thoth and it's much better at reading newsgroups. It seems
that Entourage takes forever to download each individual message for me to
read. Does anyone else have this problem. I would so much rather use
Entourage as my newsreader than have to open another app.

Entourage is a basic newsreader. I haven't noticed a problem downloading
messages. I even use a rule to download entire messages:
