Entourage not downloading all mail from server

I have Entourage 11.2.1 with OS 10.4.3. I have 4 IMAP accounts and 1 POP
account that I am using. I have been having various troubles with Entourage
lately, probably for the last month or so, thus before the OS 10.4.3
upgrade. One problem is that the Entourage sometimes cannot connect to the
mail server and asks me to re-enter my mail password. I re-enter it, but it
still cannot connect. This usually doesn't happen to all of my IMAP accounts
at the same time, but each has had the problem sporadically.

Today, I cannot seem to download all of the mail on my IMAP server. I
checked my mail box using the web-based Squirrel Mail and there are some
messages not downloaded to one of my IMAP accounts.

Any ideas of what is causing this or my other problems?

Hi Mark-

It sounds like something I went through quite some time ago.

Although the problem could be on the server/isp end here are a couple of
things to try:

First, Repair Disk Permissions using Disk Utility, OnyX, or the like.

If that doesn't fix it, there may be a problem with your Key Chain. Check to
make sure that it has the pw stored as appropriate for each account in
agreement with the master account. If you're not familiar with the Key Chain

Make sure that _anytime_ you update, upgrade, install or remove _anything_
that you run Repair Disk Permissions (preferably before & after).
