Entourage not responding BIG TIME!

For some time now, I have been experiencing Entourage locking up with
the little colored pinwheel, spinning and spinning for several
minutes. Before joining this group, I read several others who have
experienced the same thing and followed the instructions for fixing
this problem: taking Entourage out of the spotlight search,
reinstalling Microsoft Office with all the new updates from the
download given instead of Auto Update, Placing the Microsoft Utility
Data in the Privacy section of Spotlight so it won't search this. All
these steps still haven't solved the problem and it seems to be
happening more and more. Very Frustating.......

Does anyone have another possible solution???

In addition to the other possibilities you mentioned, it could also
be:- projects with a lot of contacts
- big Exchange accounts.

Is it either of the two??

I do not know the fix problem but when it happens the only escape I have
found is to use he OSX Force Quit.

Anecdotal evidence supports a vast reduction in these problems if you reduce
the number of items in any given Entourage folder (Inbox, Sent Items,
Deleted Items etc.) to less than 500.

It's a pitiful state of affairs, but that's what's worked here.
