Entourage Not Responding (locked up)

This is not a new topic but an old topic revisited. I have received a
sales letter message from http://www.directron.com/. It came into my
Inbox via POP mail. There is something embedded in the html code that
hangs up Entourage 11.3.3 big time.

I cannot read the message. If I click on it or even just select it, i
get the spinning beach ball and Entourage locks up big time. The only
recovery I have found is to use the OSX Force Quit that says Entourage
is not responding.

Sure would like to know what the company included in the newsletter that
totally trashes Microsoft Entourage.

First, try to delete using your web access to your email. If
it's off the server and just in Entourage try selecting all messages in that
folder rather than just the one message and delete all.

Check the Entourage Temp folder in the Microsoft User Data folder. Try
deleting the attachment if it's showing there.

Diane,

Thanks..... I was able select the BAD message with a few more and move
them as a group to the Deleted Items folder.

I sure would like to know what directron.com puts in their html code
that really messes with Entourage. I sent them a note about the issue
and they blew me off with no response.

Thanks again!

This is not uncommon and certainly a pain to deal with.
