Entourage not responding

Something happened last week to my Entourage. It was working just fine
and now every time I try to open the program I get the spinning wheel
of death and it says it is unresponsive so I have to force quit. Is
there a way to reset Entourage without having to open the program?

Launch the application pressing the Option key down. You'll be offered
an option to rebuild your database. It might be corrupted...

Thanks, Corentin.

I ran the rebuild but it seems to think there are still messages to be
sent and it gets stuck. Any way to clear out the outbox without
opening Entourage?

Not that I can tink of.
What you could do though, is to open Entourage with the Shift key down
to get it to Offline mode. You can then trash the e-mails before
Entourage cane ven try to send them,
