Entourage not saving passwords

Hello,

Just received my new 12" powerbook (OSX 10.4.2) and installed MS Office 2004
(version 11.2.0) academic version with site license.

In entourage, the program is not saving my accounts' passwords even after
checking the "save password in my Mac OSX keychain" option. This happened
after re-importing my MS User Data folder, or when email accounts setup from
scratch.
So every time I boot up the program, I have to retype in the password for 5
accounts.

Help!

Sarge.

Open up the keychain and run the 'keychain first aid' command found in the
menus. This may fix it.

However, it is more likely that you will have to delete the current entries
for those accounts (there may be separate entries for sending server and
receiving server) and let entourage save them once again. After putting them
back in this one time, you should find they stick OK.

Your keychain may be damaged. If you run KeyChain Access (under
/Applications/Utilities), choose Window/Keychain First Aid, and validate
and/or repair it and see if it reproduces.

Thanks, that keychain repair solved the matter.
