Entourage off a PowerBook

I have a G5 at work and at home and I use a PowerBook when I a
travelling and as my main storage of files for the G5's so I have th
most current data wherever I am. (We are not running a server).

When working on the G5's at work or home I want to be able to hav
Entourage "see" my PowerBook data file when I am working in target dis
mode, however it seesm to default to the G5 hard disk.

Can I over ride the default location for Entourage, or even better, a
Outlook does, specify multiple data file locations

You can specify an alternative location for the data files (the 'Microsoft
User Data' folder) by moving the folder to the remote location and leaving a
correctly named alias pointing to it in the default location.

However, if the target was not available when you started the G5, I would
expect Entourage (and possibly other office apps) to be unable to start up.

Hi Barry - thanks for the tip, unfortunately I have followed your advic
and find that a new Microsoft User Data folder is created on my G5 whe
I launch Entourage, resulting in the G5 data being shown.
Any other suggestions would be appreciate
