Entourage on a MacIntosh

I have downloaded a trial copy of Entourage for use on my MacIntosh;
but when I go to use Word, it says "The Office v. X Text Drive cannot be
run from a read only volume." I went to disc permissions on my Mac
and verified and fixed permissions. Still no success. Any suggestions?

You need to drag the copy of Entourage to your disk. You are trying to run
it off the .dmg.
